The Central Florida AIDS Planning (CFAP) Consortium is a community planning council that advises the Heart of Florida United Way on Ryan White Part B federal HIV/AIDS funds and provides HIV Disease prevention planning.

CFAP is composed of individuals from Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties who convene to assess and prioritize the needs of the HIV/AIDS community in the East Central Florida region.

Through CFAP, the voices of local healthcare providers, People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A), those at risk for HIV Disease, and other concerned citizens in the area can be heard in deciding how to distribute Ryan White Part B funds.

Through planning processes by members of the consortium, members help ease the financial burden of costly medications, health insurance, and medical care for PLWH/A.

CFAP serves as a community voice in planning for the support of people living with and those at risk for HIV/AIDS in Florida’s Brevard, Osceola, Orange, and Seminole counties.
